Courage

Would you say you are a courageous person?
Most people naturally are not.
The nice thing about courage though is that the more you practice it the more it grows.
If you want to achieve any of the goals you have in life they will require courage.
Where most people go wrong is whatever their goal is requires a huge amount of courage but they currently have very little but yet they still try to achieve that goal and end up failing and they end up super discouraged and then more than likely never try to achieve that goal again.
With courage you have to incrementally increase it by doing things that require a certain amount one day and then the next doing other things that require a little more and then you have to do that over and over again. Before you know it, that goal you have will seem like nothing.
A good example of this is weight loss.
You want to lose 50 lbs or maybe you want to gain 15 lbs of muscle.
Well you have to lay out the steps it will take to do so.
The first step is going to the gym. You are probably thinking “Really Captain Obvious” but honestly if you’ve never been or haven’t been in a long time and aren’t comfortable in your own skin it can be scary. But here it is, that first small step where you have to practice courage.
After you get past that first step then you have many more small steps like getting a trainer, changing your diet, talking with and planning with a dietician.
There are little things that we take for granted that can actually be monumental when it comes to your growth as a person and when it comes to achieving your goals.
When you start to see these small wins take a two seconds to mental celebrate them that way you can remember them when the next challenge comes up.
Be strong and courageous.
