Rest Days

Rest Days

When was the last time you took a break???

Well, unfortunately life does not slow down.

The thing is we can’t just stop doing what we need to do but we do need to put a higher priority on time to rest.

If your cruise is set on 100 MPH you're going to run out of gas and wear out your engine faster.

There is a common misconception that you have to work 24/7 if you want to be successful and that is just not possible or sustainable.

So, how do you get the things done to move toward your goals but also have time to rest?

The Power List.

The Power List is a concept I first heard from Andy Frisella.

It is a list of the top five things you need to get done to move the needle forward. You either make the list the night before or first thing in the morning.

Write them down and then get them done and then once you get those 5 things done then you can rest.

It doesn’t matter if it is 10 a.m. or 10 p.m. when you get those tasks done, take a break.

We often try to move mountains in one day but in reality it takes day after day chipping away at it little by little.

Daily small wins will add up into big wins.

Do the work and don’t forget to recharge your batteries.
